Why Professional Teeth Cleaning Matters
Even with excellent brushing and flossing at home, plaque builds up in areas a toothbrush can't reach. Professional cleaning removes that buildup before it hardens into tartar — which can only be removed by a hygienist. Our hygienists take their time. You'll never feel rushed, and if you have sensitive areas or dental anxiety, just let us know — we work at your pace.
What to Expect at Your Cleaning
Your hygiene appointment includes a thorough cleaning of all tooth surfaces and along the gumline, removal of tartar buildup, polishing, a gum health assessment, and personalized tips for your home care routine. We'll also flag anything that needs the dentist's attention.
Appointment Length
Hygiene appointments are scheduled for approximately 60 minutes.
How Often Do I Need a Cleaning?
Most patients come in every six months. If you have a history of gum disease or are on a periodontal maintenance program, we may recommend every three to four months. We'll discuss what's right for you.
Welcoming New Patients
New patients are always welcome. No referral needed.
